If you asked me to give you a two word summary of Cricket, I would answer with “David Boon”. As a defining character in what I believe was the sports greatest days, come rain or shine “The Keg With Legs” would always come through with the goods.

Having played Cricket at an early age. I still find that as a sport - Cricket is one of the few titles that is yet to have it’s shining moment in the Video Game world. I still have fond memories of playing Cricket on the NES on a daily basis with my neighbour. It was such a simple Cricket game, but it got all the aspects right and made it fun to play, which is something I am yet to experience with the newer Cricket games.

Could Cricket 2009 be the sports shining knight?

Bloc Party set to release Intimacy Remixed

Bloc Party are set to release a remixed version of last year’s Intimacy on May 11. Intimacy Remixed will be available on limited edition CD, triple 12” as well as digitally. Artists remixing tracks on the album will include Mogwai, Filthy Dukes, Gold Panda and Armand Van Helden. This album will be interesting to hear considering on hearing it for the first time, Intimacy sounded somewhat like a remixed album anyway. …read more

Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill on the iPhone, really?

I can understand Silent Hill. But the announcement of MGS on the iPhone really has left me surprised.

I guess we will just have to wait for the game to be released, but colour me interested. Silent Hill on the other hand, well we all know that as we live in Australia, that will just be banned.
