At their recent iPod event - Apple launched a new service called “iTunes LP”. A service that gives the listener a palette of multimedia items when purchasing a specifically formatted album off of iTunes. It now seems, that Apple could very well be bringing digital comics to iTunes LP as well.
Tyrese Gibson’s, Mayhem is the first digital comic book to be made available on the iTunes store through the iTunes LP format. Priced at $3.99, you get the digital comic, music, a 45 minute making of video and desktop wallpapers.
