Left 4 Dead 2 Boycott

By Trevor June 8, 2009

As we all know, Left 4 Dead 2 was announced at the recent E3 Expo that was held in LA. I was extremely excited with the news of a sequel to one of my favorite game of last year. But, it seems that I may be one of the few people happy to have a sequel, so soon.

A group of Left 4 Dead fans have created a group called “L4D2 boycott”. This group is rather frustrated that a sequel for Left 4 Dead is being delivered so soon, seeing as the original game was only released in November, 2008. …read more

Left 4 Dead - Survival Pack DLC Will Be Free.

By Trevor February 12, 2009

Valve has just announce that the upcoming downloadable content for the zombie mess fest known as Left 4 Dead, will be available for free.

“You buy the product, you get the content,” Team Fortress 2 designer Robin Walker explained to Eurogamer prior to that game’s release.

“We make more money because more people buy it, not because we try and nickel-and-dime the same customers.”

High fives to Valve!

Details are now starting to emerge in regards to the upcoming DLC for Left 4 Dead titled “Survival Pack”.

I read one paragraph and decided that “The Survival Multiplayer Mode” will be the greatest game mode in a Zombie shooter, ever!

“The “Survival” multiplayer mode, which is separate from Versus and the cooperative Campaign modes, will allow “up to four players set records for the longest time surviving hordes of zombies on over 12 maps,” according to GameTrailers.” …read more

Left 4 Dead Valentines.

By Trevor February 2, 2009

Zombie Valentines. Could there be a better way to show how you feel about someone? I think not.

A forum poster over at Penny Arcade has provided the community, with some Left 4 Dead themed Valentine cards that you can share with your loved ones, or even your future Valentine!

L4D is one of the best co-op games that I have played in recent years. The level of panic that this game can produce in a gamer is a thing of sheer brilliance. …read more

[Review] Left 4 Dead

By Adam December 21, 2008

Title: Left 4 Dead

Platform: XBOX 360

Now generally as a process I try and keep away from other reviews and previews when I’m going to review a game, if anything to make certain I’m not already affected by hype or have any expectations. But upon hearing about this game, I must admit I was a little excited. Who wouldn’t want to play a glorified “zombie apocalypse” game? …read more
