I love the Guitar Hero: World Tour drum kit. But given the fact that the sensitivity of the cymbals out of the box, seems to be pretty ordinary - in most cases. So, it’s a great thing that Red Octane have provided the “USB Midi Drum Tuning Kit” for free.

My orange cymbal has a problem. The sensitivity of it is way to low, and it makes the game unplayable when you have to rely on the cymbal for a steady beat. I also have a problem with my red drum, otherwise known as the snare. Its sensitivity, is set too high. Meaning that when I hit the yellow cymbal, it will sometime trigger the red drum. Yay.
So, I jumped onto the Red Octain web site and ordered myself a USB MIDI tuning kit for the drums and it finaly arived today after about a two week wait.

Travis Barker has just had his track pack made available for all players of “Guitar Hero: World Tour”. The only song that I would purchase from this pack would be “Lycanthrope” by +44 as it has a really good catch to it.

Xbox World have reported that Activision will be release a Australia artists track pack to celebrate Australia day.
In celebration of Australia Day 2009, Activision and Red Octane will be allowing Guitar Hero World Tour fans to step into the shoes of three of Australia’s most successful rock acts: Silverchair, Wolfmother and The Vines. Aussie rockers can smash their drums, thrash their guitars or scream into the mic to three of Australia’s most iconic rock anthems from 22nd January 2009.
