This Wednesday’s Weekly Wallpaper is from Assassin’s Creed 2.

Even though, our full review of the game will be up on the site this week. It’s safe to say the Ubisoft Montreal have definitely delivered on most of their promises when facing the criticism of the original game.

How do you feel about the sequel? …read more

Modern Warfare hit retail stores almost a week ago. It is the most pre-ordered game in history and is the follow up to one of the most popular multiplayer first person shooters of this current generation, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Anyone with a remote interested in Modern Warfare 2 knows about THAT level. The level that sees you taking the role of an American soldier undercover in a terrorist ring, entering a Russian airport and having to choose whether you slaughter hundreds of innocent russian civilians or put your cover and your mission, at risk. …read more

[Feature] The Second Time Around

By Trevor July 28, 2009

Why do you replay games?

Could it be that you want to get all the achievements/trophies to further your Gamerscore/trophy collection? Do you want to attack the gameplay from a different perspective? Do you want to be good this time instead of evil?

The reason I ask this, is that I could probably count the games that I have replayed on both hands. …read more

There are a lot of moments in life that will frustrate you.

Having to stand in line for too long, someone walking slowly in front of you, and driving in the city. But still, video games manage to increase my anger to a level that only The Incredible Hulk would understand.

I’ve thrown and have seen many a controller thrown in my younger gaming years. Luckily I now just resort to the much more mature method of screaming swear words at the television, hoping that deep down it feels sorry for me, and will prevent it from ever happening again. …read more

The Xbox LIVE marketplace has become the ultimate hub of multimedia content for Xbox 360 owners. Downloadable content, ranging from expansion packs such as Fallout 3’s “Operation Anchorage” (369MB), Fable 2’s “Knothole Island” (532MB) and Metallica’s “Death Magnetic” album for Guitar Hero 3/World Tour (1GB). These are only the DLC for games that have recently been released. When you count the growing collection of Xbox LIVE Arcade games, video content and music. The original 20GB hard drive that came with the older Xbox 360s would now be considered much too small to house the content, that gamers now have access to.

The only way to upgrade your Xbox 360 HDD, is to purchase Microsoft’s official Xbox 360 120GB hard drive pack as seen here. It usually retails for $169/$179 at JBHIFI - even though Microsoft list it with a RRP of $199.95 on the official Xbox website. …read more

Upfront, a word to the wise for those intending to catch the exhibition before it closes - said humbling experience comes shortly before an impoverished …read more

Welcome to the first instalment of Xbox LIVE off-line.
