I’m sure that at some point in time, everyone has received a viral email with a million and one Cyanide & Happiness comic strips c/o the talented psychotic people at Explosm.net. They’re the ones with the little stick figure men who have brought us such great lines as, “I’m not addicted to alcohol, alcohol is addicted to me,” and love scenes between man and cup-o-noodles and quite frankly, I love them…just not in a cup-o-noodles kinda way.
So fittingly, this weeks Friday Film Clip features (f**k that’s a lotta f’s) the Cyanide & Happiness crew as they face the dilemma of running out of booze at the height of the party.
Enjoy and if you like what you see then you can either check out more Cyanide & Happiness comics online …read more

I hate cats - plain & simple, I just don’t like them.
They sleep, they eat & they shit - they’re me with slightly more fur & I think that this world ain’t big enough for the two billion odd of us.
Having said that, I need keyboard cat in my life - nay, I can’t live without the little fella. Put it down to ranga solidarity, whatever, if he can provide me with comedic moments like this, then I’m down.
And hey, he even comes with a t-shirt.
Now, onto the clip, I know its childish, but my girl & I bought a puppy for XMAS & what you’re about to say is just another day in the life right now…well, not this extreme, but let’s just say that if his toy zebra was real, then we’d have some pretty interesting looking zeb-dogs running around these days. …read more

Sorry, I went a little Mortal Kombat there it seems - I’m just a little excited.
Now we’re back on track, here’s the latest from Marvel as they announce the commencement of principal photography on Thor.
For myself, I’m really excited to see what comes of this film. I’ve been a long term fan of Kenneth Branagh (director of Thor), for no particular reason & will be really interested to see what he makes of a character who has always appealed to the fantasy geek in me. But here is my most sincere warning Kenneth - do NOT follow the path of remaking Asgard in Oklahoma or else you’ll be dealing with these flying fists of rage as I come at you like a spider monkey! …read more

Last year I spoke about an animated series called Frisky Dingo, the underground cult classic which provided us with such great one-liners as, “Boosh!”, “Go time!” and “Kakow!” Well now Frisky Dingo co-creator, Adam Reed, has returned with a new series, Archer.
Synopsis: Archer is an animated, half-hour comedy set at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS), a spy agency where espionage and global crises are merely opportunities for its highly trained employees to confuse, undermine, betray and royally screw each other. The series features the voices of
H. Jon Benjamin as suave master spy “Sterling Archer,” whose less-than-masculine code name is “Duchess”; Jessica Walter as his domineering mother and boss, “Malory”; Aisha Tyler as his ex-girlfriend, “Agent Lana Kane”; George Coe as his aging-but-loyal butler, “Woodhouse”; Chris Parnell as ISIS comptroller and Lana’s new love interest, “Cyril Figgis”; and Judy Greer as Malory’s lovesick secretary, “Cheryl.” Source …read more

The much talked about software update for the Xbox 360. Which will give the system access to social networks like Twitter, Facebook and LastFM and provide full HD movies on demand, will be released on the 17th of November.
I had a chance to have a look at a few of the features of the new update this week and while I do use the services, I was previously uninterested in the Social Media additions. But after seeing how they have been implemented and how easily they can be used, I will definitely be using the Twitter and Facebook features of the Xbox 360 once the update goes live. …read more
