Lips: Number One Hits

By Ronny May 29, 2009

True story, my eyesight is so bad that I originally thought that I’d stumbled across a very original promo shot for the xbox 360 game, Lips. My advice to you - if you’re currently thinking along the same lines then go with it and don’t delve too deeply into the truth!

Now down to business!

Due for release in Australia in November 2009, Lips: Number One Hits is set to win some Singstar nuts back to the xbox 360 based on the track list below - I’m going to bust out some happy pants, bring back my flat top and completely own MC Hammer! Read on for official press release. …read more

‘If a stranger offered you the chance to get away with murder…would you take it?’

The first story arc in 100 Bullets begins with an ending, presenting the reader with the outcome before giving us a chance to discover how we and the protagonist arrived there. In this way, we are thrown right into the thick of it, the story grabbing us from the get go.

Bullets tells the story of the down trodden and forgotten refuse of life as they are given a second lease on life at the expense of those who ruined their own. This second lease comes in the form of an attaché case with evidence alluding to the truth behind the downfall of our anti-heroes and an untraceable 9mm with 100 bullets - equally untraceable. No orders are given, only choices and opportunities - continue your life as it is, or reclaim it for what it once was. Which would you choose? Would you have the strength to do what is right? What is right in such a situation? …read more

This weeks Wednesday Weekly Wallpaper features Megaman in honour of two things; firstly a friend of mine who continues his ceaseless efforts to own a mint condition copy of pretty much every Megaman game ever created and secondly because of this awesome fan art featuring Vin Diesel as Megaman himself - it’s absolute gold!

However, as I couldn’t find a copy of the Vin Diesal image large enough to be used as a wallpaper, please see below for the piece created by Mark Matei - Megaman Bosses.

As an added bonus, below this is a cubeecraft print out which should keep you entertained for 5 minutes, especially if your office has a colour printer - enjoy!

Back in February we were lucky enough to go to THQ’s offices in Melbourne and preview the game. From the moment we exited their Space Marine and Evil Dead infested offices, we did not stop talking about UFC 2009: Undisputed. …read more

Wolverine has a son - or didn’t you know that? If I didn’t know any better I would have expected him to be named Beau and to be toting an eye patch as he miraculously survived a bout of terminal cancer (guess what show is viewed everyday at my work?!) instead he’s a homocidal sociopath with a mohawk, tribal tatt’s and claws named Daken (click on name to view Marvel profile)…which is near enough in my books.

Well now Daken is stepping out of his father’s shadow (after trying to assassinate said shadow and the body it was attached to in the past) in Dark Wolverine #75 (co-written by Marjorie Liu and Daniel Way and illustrated by Giuseppe Camuncoli) which is set for release in the US on June 17th. …read more
