My hands are shaking as I type this announcement - yes, you read correctly - Marvel vs Capcom 2 has been announced! (There will be a lot of exclamation marks used in this article - you have been forewarned!) A huge fan of the first instalment & with Street Fighter 4 still fresh in my mind, I’m exploding at this news!

Okay, so I admit it, I’m REALLY excited about the pending release of the Wolverine: Origins film (as evidenced by all of my posts this week having a Marvel reference to them (I will return to your gentle arms soon DC!) [Review] The Godfather 2

When I first read about this title, EA had up the heightened strategy elements, which was something I really looked forward to because the original title was a definite challenge for me. I had to check out a guide to finish some parts of the first game, but one question lingered.

Would this sequel follow the same road?

The answer, in short, is no. Sadly, this game basically holds your hand through the entire experience; I never even considered a guide as an option. But I will say there are some other changes that make this title better than its predecessor. Sort of.
